Meadows Regional Medical Center Announces the Promotion of Tracey Kennedy to Director of Radiology
VIDALIA – Meadows Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Tracey Kennedy has been promoted from Assistant Director of Radiology to Director of Radiology.
“With the retirement of John Harrell, Meadows former Director of Radiology, last month, Tracey was found qualified and duly prepared to assume her new role,” said Terry Thompson, Vice President of Operations. “She has been a very valuable asset to the radiology department, the hospital, and the community, and we are excited to have her talents for the benefit of our patients.”
Kennedy has an impressive career in healthcare, with over 21 years’ experience in radiology. Prior to joining Meadows, she served both as MRI Technologist and Radiology Manager at Dublin Internal Medicine. She also served as Radiology/Mammography/MRI Technologist at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Kennedy received her Radiologic Technology diploma from Valdosta Technical College in 1996 and is certified by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in the areas of Radiologic Technology, Mammography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). She will complete her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management in December 2017. She is a native of Tifton, but has lived in Dublin for nine years. She and her husband Eddie have two children, Kortney age 14, and Kaleb age 11.
