Meadows Regional Medical Center to Host FREE Women’s Breast Health Event October 13th
VIDALIA – Meadows Regional Medical Center will host a FREE Women’s Breast Health Event to answer questions about breast cancer awareness, screening, and prevention on Friday, Oct. 13 Meadows Wellness Center, 101 Harris Industrial Blvd, Vidalia.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature door prizes, vendors, and special guest speakers. A luncheon will take place from 12:30 – 2 p.m.
Dr. Susanna Meredith, Vidalia Women’s Center physician will speak about the importance of breast health screenings. Tracey Kennedy, Meadows Regional Medical Center Director of Radiology, will talk about the new breast screening technology, 3-D Tomography, that Meadows will offer beginning January 2018.
Vendors for the event will include Accordia Urgent Care, Affinis Hospice, Alliance Home Medical, East Georgia Health Care Center, Health Revival, Meadows Radiology Department, Meadows Wellness Center, Mercy Medical Center, Paul Thigpen Chevrolet, and Vidalia Women’s Center.
