Jeremy Dykes Earns Meadows Moment Award for Going Above and Beyond
VIDALIA – Jeremy Dykes, Meadows Regional Medical Center MRI Technologist, has been awarded the hospital’s prestigious Meadows Moment Award.
Dykes was nominated for the award for his kind, compassionate care shown to a patient battling cancer. “My son met Jeremy on his last hospitalization and was blown away by his kind and caring mannerisms,” said the patient’s mother. “The outcome of the test will not be changed by the compassionate way in which Jeremy did his job, but it will certainly not be forgotten by the people that love my son.”
This special award was created to recognize staff members and physicians who are noticed for exemplifying Meadows’ values of compassion, teamwork and integrity. Awards are given to deserving employees for coming up with new ideas, helping coworkers, and other efforts that bring value to the team.
“We are very fortunate to have Jeremy on the radiology team,” said Tracey Kennedy, Meadows Regional Medical Center Director of Radiology. “His compassion is a prime example of the outstanding care that takes place at Meadows.”
Dykes has been employed with Meadows for 15 years and currently resides in Lyons.
